On January 21st, 2019 the MLK Day Celebration will honor the life and legacy of the Dr. Martin Luther King by engaging our community in dialogue about race and justice through our Youth Art & Essay Contest based on an MLK quote, a Youth Rally (5:00pm at Caras Park, and a Community Celebration (6:00pm at St. Anthony Church). The Youth Rally features youth perspectives on oppression and issues of equality. The Community Celebration features a keynote address, guest musicians and an award ceremony for winners of the Youth Art and Essay Contest.
