Introduction to Mindfulness and Meditation

Learn about the background and
explore a variety of meditation techniques
and styles to help you access
that peaceful feeling while in class and
during daily activities. Scientificallyproven
health benefits of mindfulness
meditation include better sleep, lower
anxiety and stress levels, improved
attention and memory, and a more
positive outlook. Each class will
include a period of transition and
calming, followed by information and
discussion, and conclude with practice.
Bring an open mind and a pillow
or two to assist you in finding comfort
during the class.
