Marigny Productions is proud to present THE River City Roots Festival afterparty with SIGNAL PATH LIVE PA on Saturday, Aug 23, 2008 at The Loft in downtown Missoula. Signal Path toured the country incessantly from 2002 – 2005 as innovators in the live electronic music scene. During that time the band was invited to perform at major festivals across the country including Bonnaroo, Wakarusa, High Sierra, and 10,000 lakes. As the bands' national popularity grew they were favorite support acts for bands such as Widespread Panic, Galactic and Particle, all of whom they performed with on several national tours.
Currently, Signal Path Live PA is the collaboration of Ryan Burnett and Damon Metzner, two of the founding members of Signal Path. This project allows them to reinvent and rejuvenate their passion for instrumental electronic music. As a duo they push the boundaries of live drum n’ bass and triphop. In essence the laptop computer and the musicians mesh to enhance a traditional dj set with world class musicianship. What results is a sound that can be melodic and even beautiful at the same time as heart pounding and intense with growling guttural bass and huge dance-floor bombs. Its something you have to see to believe.
