Raclette Dinner
6:00 PM Missoula Winery and Event Center
Description:
Raclette Dinner - Reservation Required
6pm - $45/person or $80/ couple - Under 21: $25
Raclette is a dish indigenous to parts of Switzerland. The Raclette cheese round is heated, either in front of a fire or by a special machine, then scraped onto diners' plates. Traditionally, it is accompanied by small firm potatoes, gherkins, pickled onions, and dried meat. Raclette comes from the French racler, "to scrape," a reference to the fact that the melted cheese must be scraped from the unmelted part of the cheese onto the plate. A popular option is to serve raclette with white wine such as Chardonnay.
Our Menu will include three courses. Starting with a Welcome Drink then the Raclette Dish, which will be made up of Raclette Cheese, Pepper Jack Cheese, Goat Cheese, Charcuterie (Cured Meat), Cornichons, Red Potatoes and A bottle of our 2010 Chardonnay for 2, to finish with the Dessert.
