The University of Montana Department of Drama/Dance is pleased to offer Coyote on a Fence, a contemporary and thought-provoking one-act. Coyote on a Fence runs in the Masquer Theatre of the Performing Arts and Radio/Television Center on campus October 28-November 1, and November 4-8 at 7:30 p.m.
Can it be wrong to kill a predator? Two death-row prisoners connect in this disturbing drama about the nature of innocence, guilt, repentance, and mercy. Likeable young Bobby Reyburn has committed a horrific racist crime, while arrogant John Brennan, a chess-playing writer, may have merely done society a favor. This compelling play explores one of the most hotly debated issues in American society but leaves the audience to ponder an answer, providing only provocative questions.
