Dr. Brian Fagan is one of the world's leading archaeological writers, he is the author of 53 books, including "The Little Ice Age: How Climate Made History" and "The Long Summer: How Climate Changed Civilization". He will offer insight into how humans in the past have adapted to climate change.
This is the first talk in the 2008 Wilderness Issues lecture series, Climate Change: Moving from Science to Solutions. Lectures are scheduled for Tuesday evenings at the University of Montana campus and are sponsored by UM's Wilderness Institute and the Center for Ethics.
