Description:
Missoula youth only receive 6 hours of arts instruction per year in the Missoula County Public Schools. The Young Artist After School Program (YAAP) works hard to provide children more time to engage with art, the community, and their friends. With a variety of seasoned teachers, children will benefit from versatile projects that inspire them to engage with their culture, explore different media, and express themselves.
Mon & Tues & Wed 3:15-5:30pm (ages 6-11) Older kids will usually arrive at 3:45pm
Thurs 2:30-5:00pm (ages 6-11) Early Out for MCPS
Fri 3:30-5:30pm (ages 12-16)
THIS PROGRAM FOLLOWS THE 2012-2013 SCHOOL YEAR CALENDAR. If there is no school or half days at MCPS, then we don't have class (our instructors use it as a planning day).
Call the ZACC to register today: $10 a day for members/$12 a day for non-members. Scholarships available.
