Graduate Studies in Sociology

Description:
The University of Montana’s Department of Sociology will hold an event Thursday, Dec. 4, to provide information about the advantages of a graduate degree and the application process.
“Graduate Studies in Sociology” will take place at 3:45 p.m. in University Center Room 327. The event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.
UM’s sociology department offers a Master of Arts degree in general sociology, rural and environmental change, criminology, and inequality and social justice.
Those who attend the Dec. 4 event can get information about admission procedures, the graduate curriculum and available financial aid. Current graduate students also will talk about their experiences in the program.
