GERMANFEST 2009
It’s time to eat, drink and oom-pah once again at Germanfest, on Sunday, September 13th, from 3:00-6:00 pm in Caras Park in downtown Missoula. For the sixteenth straight year, Missoulians will celebrate German culture and our Sister City relationship with Neckargemünd, Germany. Admission is free!
This cultural celebration features fun for the entire family, with dancing and music by the Bavarian Echoes from Kalispell. For the hungry and thirsty, there will be plenty of bratwurst, sauerkraut, potato salad, dessert, pop and German beer for sale, as well as commemorative beer steins. Buy meal tickets early by calling 532-3240. The food will be provided by The Shack, and the beer provided by Bayern Brewing and Summit Beverage. There will also be commemorative beer steins for sale, a raffle, children’s activities, and information about Missoula’s sister-city of Neckargemund.
