Rock N Roll Photography

Description:
On First Friday May 2, Forward Montana, 736 S. Higgins Ave., and Ear
Candy Music, 624 S. Higgins Ave., are pleased to present photographers
Niki Payton and Megan Helm respectively. These two ladies will be
unveiling prints from rock n roll shows in Missoula spanning the past
decade.
Niki's exhibit, entitled 'Rock & Roll Punks
Rock Rock & Roll', is taken from an extensive collection original
prints of (mostly) Missoula rock shows in houses, bars and fesitvals
dating from 1999 to today. Nearly all the photos are shot on film from
her trusty Canon, a few digital here and there.
Forward MT will host an opening reception from 5-8 pm. with live music
from Travis Sehorn. Exhibit on display through the end of May.
Expect
to recognize a few faces in Megan Helm's work, as her collection is
more recent, with many shots taken in some of our newer venues
downtown, such as the Palace and the Badlander. Ear Candy hosts an
opening reception with live djs from 5-10 pm and you may view Megan's
work until the end of May.
