Living creatures found in physical and fanciful environments have fascinated artists throughout time. Our Familiar,
MAM's summer exhibition from the permanent collections, features animal
imagery embodying ideas as diverse as love for the natural world,
political beliefs, shared memories and secret selves. Our Familiar
celebrates a unique collection of paintings, drawings, prints,
photographs, ceramics, textiles and sculptures created over the last 60
years.
