Big Ride Across America ice cream reception - Clean Air celebration

Description:
Grab a FREE Big Dipper ice cream cone and welcome bicyclists passing through Missoula on their way to Wasthington, D.C.,as part of a fundraising trip for the American Lung Association.
This is a chance to celebrate clean air, community, cycling and summer! These cyclists are working hard to elevate the need for healthy lungs and a strong Clean Air Act.
Please attend and welcome these cyclists to our town!
Speakers include:
-- Renee Klein, president/CEO, American Lung Association of the Mountain Pacific Region.
-- Mayor John Engen of Missoula.
-- Steve Lindbeck, Big Ride participant, CEO/General Manager Alaska Public Broadcasting.
--Curtis Noonan, Phd., associate professor University of Montana Department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The Big Ride cyclists hail from around the United States and are on a 48-day trip from Seattle to Washington, D.C. Riders, who range in age from 18 to 65, cycle an average of 83 miles daily.
They will be on a rest break in Missoula, so this is an opportunity to welcome them to Montana and thank them for their service.
