Developed in the nightclub and restaurant scene during the last century, American cabaret style bellydance is influenced by classical Egyptian Raqs Sharqi and Turkish orientale styles of dance.In this class we will cover technique and musicality for cabaret style bellydance and learn combinations and choreography to get you dancing from day one! This class is appropriate for beginning or more experienced dancers. Zils, or finger cymbals, are optional so bring your own or we will have some to share.
