It's been ages
since we've hosted a Soundoff,
and we've decided it's high time to kick things back into gear with a
frank and candid discussion of feminist Naomi Wolf's take on pornography.
We think this is going to make for a fascinating, lively discussion,
and we'd love to have your voice be a part of it.
If you're wondering what a Soundoff is, you can read
all about it here. We think this is one of the cooler things we do
at All Souls. This is NOT a religious discussion per se. It's more of a
'current issues' discussion (and of course, someone's faith will
inevitably influence what they say) - but we work really hard to
make
sure every perspective is welcome, and the more diverse the
group the more interesting the conversation. If you're interested in
coming, all you have to do is read the article and show up with your
opinions.
We'll take care of the rest - dinner, dessert, and plenty of
fascinating folks to talk with! It's an awful lot of fun.
