The Missoula Cultural Council is celebrating its first ever Summer Solstice Party
– “The Last Best Solstice” – at the Missoula Winery on June 20th from 6:00-11:00 p.m.
Several local artists, including Larry Pirnie, Nancy Seiler, Courtney Blazon and Laura
Blaker, will spend the day creating “Open Air Art”, to be auctioned that evening, with
Mayor John Engen as auctioneer. Following a Mayan theme, the event features music
by Salsa Loca, Mexican food provided by All-Events Catering, and wine and beer for
additional purchase. All participating artists will receive 60% of auction sale.
Tickets are $25 each, and are available by calling the MCC office (541-0860) or by
contacting mcc@missoulacultural.org
