“ Collections and Variationa*”, new work in paint/media by James Halvorson will open at Art City on Friday October 24th with an artist’s reception from 4 to 7 pm. Halvorson plays with the meaning of language, text and symbol by placing his imagery in unfamiliar settings. “Change what is known, and what is perceived visually will change as well.”
Art City is a co-operatively managed gallery featuring work by local artists. It is located in an historic downtown Hamilton building at 407 W Main St. Regular open hours are Wednesday through Saturday 11 am to 5:00 pm and other days by chance or appointment.
