Description:
The Peace & Justice Film Series will host a film and discussion around the theme "The End of the World."
The film screened will be "The Crisis of Civilization," a remix documentary feature film investigating how global crises such as ecological disaster, financial meltdown, dwindling oil reserves, terrorism and food shortages are converging symptoms of a single, failed global system based on unsustainable growth.
The event is sponsored by the UM Students for Peace and Justice and the Jeannette Rankin Peace Center.
