Leave No Trace Trainer Course

Description:
November 7-8 participate in a Leave No Trace Trainer Course (www.lnt.org) sponsored by the Montana Wilderness Association and REI. Participants will learn about low-impact hiking and camping techniques, and will be given opportunities to practice teaching the seven principles of Leave No Trace. We will spend most of our time in the Rattlesnake Wilderness and participants will receive a certificate verifying their completion of a Trainer Course. Course materials are provided, and equipment is available from REI free of charge. Attendance for both days is required for completion; for more information and to sign up, please contact Missoula @wildmontana.org.
