After School Art Experience

Description:
Children's After School Art Experience
was the original Zootown Arts that started two years ago.... This is a
major program at ZACC. Children ages 7-12 meet everyday in the Creative
Development Classroom/Gallery at the ZACC Studios and work with
artists that are housed here at the studios and other artists from the
Missoula community. The goal is that children can meet other kids from
different schools and work together on their projects and art! The
children will be working with poets, writers, printers, publishers,
ceramicists and painters from around the Valley. The children often get
commission requests from businesses and community members. The artists
work as a group to help the kiddos execute real projects going on
around town. So far this year Zootown Kids worked on a mural for
Crystal Video and the Peace Project Check it out and rent some videos!
- We will also be working on mosaics for the Poverello Center in
Missoula starting after Thanksgiving. Individual projects abound in
science, history, culture, and writing! Everyday After School!
Monday-Wednesday and Friday from 3:30-5:30 Thursdays Early Out (2)2:30-5:30pm
