MPL offers a computer lab dedicated to free computer training, including classes on basic computer and internet use, downloading and editing digital photos, and more. Seating is limited as we have only six computer stations available, so call for a spot today. For more information call 721-BOOK (2665).<br />

An introduction to the basic features of Microsoft Excel, a spreadsheet program designed for the Windows environment. Topics include: entering data & formulas and assumes the student has some experience with Windows and using a mouse.<br />
13 Wednesday 6:00-7:00 - Beginning Word<br />
An introduction to word processing including how to create a document, manipulate the text and font, use templates and a few fun tricks<br />
18 Monday 6:00-7:00 - Intro to Email<br />
Learn the basics of creating an email account, writing a message, including attachments, sending, and receiving messages.<br />
20 Wednesday 12:30-1:30 - Picasa Picture Program<br />
An overview of the Google Picasa photo management program. Attendees may bring either digital cameras with cords to download pictures or photos on flash drives.  Those attending this class should have a basic knowledge of computer use.<br />

What is a flash drive and how do I use it?  Where did the document go that I just saved?  Get organized with all the basics of creating, renaming, moving and deleting files and folders. Learn about the various ways to store files (hard drive, removable devices, CDs, and floppies).<br />
