SUMMARY:Are you interested in helping the youth of Florence succeed? If so, please join us for this free two-hour training.
Gloria Howell is a 4th grade teacher at Paxson Elementary School in Missoula and a resident of Florence. At the heart of her presentation is the concept of developmental assets. Identified by the Search Institute, assets are positive building blocks for the healthy development of all youth. 

She has provided this training to teachers, college students, church leadership and ministry workers, and teen mothers. During this very interactive training class you will:

¢ learn to recognize and understand the assets
¢ experience the power of assets: to protect and promote
¢ learn to intentionally build assets in all youth

Building assets in youth requires a paradigm shift in how we think about our relationship with young people. You will be blessed and a
blessing to others once you grab hold of this powerful concept.
