MakeItMissoula - the creation of a Community website

This month's Montana Wordpress Meetup will feature a special presentation by Missoula entrepreneur, Carol Sharkey-Blodgett.
In August, 2010 Carol launched a community website, makeitmissoula.com which serves as a community portal connecting locals as well as residential and business relocation customers with the essence of "all things Missoula". In 2012, she launched a sister site, makeitflathead.com which serves the communities of Polson, Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls and Bigfork.
Carol has worked collaboratively with convention and visitors bureaus, chambers of commerce and regional tourism groups to publish guides in Corvallis, OR, the Willamette Valley, OR, Salem, OR, Tacoma, WA, Wenatchee, WA, Helena, MT, Billings, MT, Missoula, MT and for Glacier Country Tourism.
She has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Montana. She and her husband Tim live in Missoula.
She will talk about her business model for MakeItMissoula which is a Wordpress website.
