World Run Day

World Run Day is an international event that was started as a worldwide celebration of running. The founders' goal is to promote the health benefits of running while encouraging runners to give to their favorite charities. Events are held on November 11 all across the world. This year, Run Wild Missoula and Runner's Edge will host a World Run Day in Missoula.
The first annual World Run Day-Missoula will be held in Missoula on November 11 at 9 a.m. Runners and walkers will meet upstairs at the Runner's Edge to participate in one of two group run/walks. There will be 6.2 and 3.1 mile courses mapped out. After the run, snacks and refreshments will be served back at Runner's Edge.
Our highlighted charity for this event will be Missoula Five Valley Land Trust. Optional donations will be collected prior to the start of the group run/walk. Missoula Five Valley Land Trust is a nationally accredited organization that is responsible for protecting open space in and around Missoula. By working collaboratively with private landowners and government organizations, they have been able to protect over 65,000 acres throughout western Montana.
