Step Up to the Plate

Description:
The crack of the bat, the roar of the crowd – are you a baseball fan? Step Up to the Plate @ Missoula Public Library Saturday, July 26, at 11:30 a.m. when Missoula Osprey players pay a special visit to the library. Collect autographs, enjoy baseball stories and snack on peanuts and Cracker Jacks, and hot dogs. Ollie Osprey will be there too! Browse our baseball display, and take an online trivia quiz that could win you a trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame from the American Library Association, and sing a round of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” to celebrate the song’s 100th anniversary. Then, stay for a baseball Story Time at 2 p.m. There’s something for all ages at the library. Play ball!
