Desire, Choice and Freedom
This year's theme of Off the Rack is, "Sex in the Zoo: Desire, Choice and Exploration". Designed to challenge our community to embody the different ways in which Missoulians interact with gendered space and sexual expression, the results have been dazzling.
What are the meanings of healthy sexuality? What is safe sex? What is a man or a woman? How do we move when we love/ are accepting/ embrace our bodies, whatever the age or shape? Over 100 local artists, designers, activists and entertainers have creatively responded to those questions and more through wearable condom fashions.
Although infamously known for reproductive health, Blue Mountain Clinic is a family practice, to which reproductive health is only a small portion of patient services. The clinic's mission- to provide patients with choices in all healthcare decisions- is applied in all areas of care, from vaccinations to mental health. Off the Rack is a community driven celebration of individual choice, sexual health awareness and gender justice, brought to the stage in a fast paced whirl of energy and condom fashions.
