Doug Smith, former GFS Cooking School Coordinator, returns to our classroom to share a fresh take on the five traditional French sauces commonly known as &#8220;The Mother Sauces.&#8221;  Doug&#8217;s starting point will be the traditional Mother Sauce preparations, but he&#8217;ll also give you ideas for how you can vary the classic recipes and make the sauces your own.  You&#8217;ll get to watch Doug prepare a few of his &#8220;saucy&#8221; favorites, and better yet, you&#8217;ll get to taste them.
