Doug Smith, former GFS Cooking School Coordinator, returns to our classroom to share a fresh take on the five traditional French sauces commonly known as “The Mother Sauces.”  Doug’s starting point will be the traditional Mother Sauce preparations, but he’ll also give you ideas for how you can vary the classic recipes and make the sauces your own.  You’ll get to watch Doug prepare a few of his “saucy” favorites, and better yet, you’ll get to taste them.
