America's Super Pageant

Sit Down, Buckle Up and Prepare Yourself for a 'Super' National Pageant Unlike Any Other
This is no ordinary beauty pageant to be held on June 24, 2012 in the rugged Bitterroot Valley of Hamilton, MT. The contestants are Super Women, volunteers, and role models of all ages who leave their mark on the lives of everyone around them. The America's Super Pageant is directed by Janet Bierer and is being held in memory of her daughter, Allanya DaRay Thorning, who lost her life in a car accident on July 18, 2010. She believes that if we change one life, we may also save that life.
"If just one of these women can encourage someone to develop the habit of wearing a Seat Belt, we can save a life. That means there will be one mother who doesn't feel the pain I feel every day. That's my goal," says Janet when asked about why she chose Seat Belt Use as the pageant platform.
What makes this pageant 'Super' are these influential women from across the country who are selflessly promoting Seat Belt Use & Awareness. They have traded in the traditional sash for a custom banner embroidered with "Buckle Up". Delegates have also personally gathered close to 4,000 Seat-Belt Use Pledges.
America's Super Pageant would not be complete without an appearance from Real Life Superheroes Phoenix Jones and Purple Reign. They have a brief message to share about the importance of community activism, safety, and their support for Seat-Belt use. Also taking place over the weekend, a free BBQ lunch and Car-Seat Safety Check sponsored by Mildenberger Motors. Meet and mingle with the contestants as this event is open to the public and pageant delegates on Saturday June 23rd beginning at noon.
On Sunday evening the pageant will begin at 7pm in the Hamilton, MT Performing Arts Center. Admission is free to the public for the first 698 people. The contestants will be judged in 5 areas: Photogenic, Interview, Platform Presentation in Little Black Dress, Swimwear or Athletic Attire, and Evening Gown. A winner will be chosen in each age division as well as an overall winner who will earn the International title.
Mark your calendars as you will not want to miss this unique national pageant. Be prepared to not only be entertained but inspired by these women who are just as beautiful in outward appearance as they are on the inside; poised with class, style, intelligence, confidence, and most of all, a strong desire to improve the world around them.
