Tapas World Dance Party at the Brick Room

Description:
Join Tapas for a world dance evening October 12th from 9pm to 1am at the DDC. Instructors, Jennifer Corbin and Lori Mitchell will be on hand to MC and to keep the dance moving! The Badlander will provide a no host bar. $10 singles and $16 for couples.
Portion of the proceeds will benefit UM International Student Association.
Tapas World Jazz Ensemble plays a seductive mix of musical sound and styles fusing Gypsy, Tango, Bassa Nova/Samba, Latin and West African with Jazz harmonies and forms, exciting improvisation and extended grooves. The band members, Jen Slayden, cello - Beth Youngblood, violin - Stephanie Griepary, saxophone and keyboard - Nathan Zalvalny, guitar and voice - Campbell Younblood-Peterson, drums - Ryan Davis, bass - Michael Marsolek, percussion
