Downtown Dance is excited to present the works of Kalispell artist Sheryl Hester throughout the month of July. Sheryl has recently been one of Montana's treasured aryists.
Sheryl's work was recently chosen by the Missoula Art Museum for inclusion in its 2012 Triennial Show. Her piece, "Men in Black" was selected to advertise the exhibition.
Sheryl's original art form can best be described as "digital fine art from photographs." She starts with her original camera-based images and then significantly alters, distorts, re-structures, and forms them by free hand
using digital tools creating imaginary paintings of a variety of subjects. You will be amazed when you compare her original photographs with her finished paintings.
