Summer Camp! Collages and Pottery!

The Amazing Collage (9am-noon)
Ages 6-12
Instructor: Kathy Owens
Collages take many forms and shapes this week when students mix and match materials to create one and two-dimensional works of art. Be prepared to cut, stamp, glue, draw and paint to create a personal diorama, and many more projects that reflect your individuality. We will use a mix of materials: maps, magazines, photos, found objects, stamps, tissue paper, and more! Talk about mixed media mayhem!
Imagine a Pottery World!
(1pm-5pm) Ages 6-12
Instructor: Sue Dansie
This workshop is an exploration of art and our surroundings through three-dimensional pottery creations. You will learn to hand build with pottery. How about creating a "gaggle" of birds to live in your yard? How about a ceramic dream house, designed and built from your own imagination? Perhaps you'd like to make you or your family a plate, mug, or bowl creatively decorated and ready for everyday use. Join us and bring your imagination!
Each Summer Camp is one week long, full days ($160 for non-members // $145 for members) or half days ($90 for non-members // $75 for members). They run June 11th through August 24th, 2012. Sign up at the ZACC Monday through Saturday 12-6 or online at zootownarts.org/camps!
