Lieutenant John Mullan came through Western Montana in 1855 surveying for roads. While here he gave a lecture on Lewis and Clark to the burgeoning historical society at Fort Owen. Join Ritchie Doyle as he shares John Mullan's reflections on the Corps of Discovery and the future he saw for Lolo Pass.

Celebrating the 206th Anniversary of Lewis & Clark's return trip through our region, Travelers' Rest State Park holds a three-evening lecture series reflecting on how Western Montana changed after the Corps of Discovery's famous expedition.
