Description:
Andy Smetanka lives in Missoula, Montana. He and his family are the
live-in caretakers on the historic Moon-Randolph Homestead in
Missoula's North Hills. His Super 8 silhouette animation has recently
been seen on movie screens in Berlin, Sydney, New York and
Whitehorse, Yukon Territory in Guy Maddin's acclaimed
"docu-fantasia," My Winnipeg. His art show at Betty's Divine in
August will consist of new illustrations and stills from movies and
movies-in-progress.
Sloppy Louis will be making it's debut on the Betty's stage with a mostly acoustic hodge-podge of folk, funk, alternative, and other good sounds!
