Roll Up Your Sleeves: "Hands-On" Cake Decorating

At the Good Food Store you can have your cake and eat it too. We'll bake the cakes for this evening's class, but the Good Food Store's Katie Lethenstrom will lead you through the entire process of decorating it - from crumb coat to making frosting with a smooth finish. You'll practice basic piping, hone your skills with different piping tips and also dabble in the art of frosted calligraphy. Katie will also tell you how to store and transport your masterwork. You'll take home your cakes, of course, but also an offset spatula, a decorating table and the inspiration to create decorative desserts for every special occasion.
(Fee includes an offset spatula and decorating turntable.)
