Visit MAM for First Friday from 5-8 pm. View exhibitions in six galleries, sample delicious wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. Meet nationally acclaimed artist Ric Gendron, a member of the Arrow Lakes Band of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville. Gendron's painterly, expressive style is rooted in his
culture's traditions and the stories of his own experiences. The exhibition was organized by independent Curator Ben Mitchell, and includes a survey of contemporary paintings by Gendron and historic and contemporary cultural objects from the artist's family. Join Gendron and Mitchell at 7 PM for a discussion of how new and old illuminate the foundations of creativity. Thanks to the Missoulian for their support of MAM's First Fridays. Free.
