Dinner at Rumi's table might have included some of this evening's dishes, along with mystic poetry between courses. Tonight Ginny Mahar, chef and writer of the food blog Sunday Dinner Revival, will share her love of both the literature and the exotic flavors of Persia, the romantic and ancient destination known today as Iran. Many foods famously associated with Middle Eastern cuisine (and indeed world cuisine) have their origins in Iran, including kebabs and ice cream. Ginny will show you some steps to make Persian dishes easy and accessible - and she'll share some Persian poetry as well.
