Goats, long known as the poor man's cow, are more browsers than grazers and can survive - even thrive - on rough barren land. And for centuries cooks have been hanging cheese cloth filled with their milk and curd to make the coveted chevré, or goat cheese. Tonight GFS Cheese Buyer Jennie Gregory will treat you to samples of a variety of different goat cheese flavor profiles. And GFS Deli Manager Rebecca Canfield-Perkowski will demonstrate some deliciously easy recipes that feature goat cheese. They'll suggest some favorite beer and wine pairings too.
