We are excited to announce our first Open Gym! Open Gym will happen this Friday, Jan 25th from 10:15 - 11:15 a.m. at the gym at Sovereign Hope (formerly SHEC). Future dates TBD.
What will it look like?
--Open Gym will be an opportunity for parents to have unstructured play with their child(ren) for an hour on Fridays. Instructors will be in attendance at Open Gym, but won't be leading activities for children, we are just providing the space and equipment to use for play. There will be basketball hoops and balls, soccer nets and balls, an obstacle course, and other miscellaneous play equipment.
What is the cost?
--The cost for Open Gym will be $5 for the first child and $3 for each additional child. We will be able to accept cash, checks or credit cards on site.
At the end of many of our regular SoccerTots and HoopsterTots classes we notice that there are always kids and parents hanging around playing basketball and soccer, so we wanted to provide a way for that to happen more regularly. So tell your friends about it, grab some coffee, and bring your kiddos to come run off some steam and have fun!!
