Hooked on Walter Hook
This exhibition pays homage to Montana artist Walter Hook (1919-1989) on the 20th anniversary of his passing. Hook was a faculty member and chair of the UM Department of Art and well-known for his surrealist style.
He employed an intense color palette in both abstract works and paintings of everyday objects. The artist's sense of humor is clearly evident throughout his vast and varied body of work.
