Saturday Family Art Workshop: Tempera Batik with Cynthia Laundrie
Traditional batik, an ancient art form, used a wax resist dyeing technique in fabric. In this modern version of batiking we will use chalk and paint to create our designs and india ink as our resist. The results are spectacular. Visual aids and ideas will be provided to inspire your designs. The fee is just $5 for each participant and class is 11AM - 12:30 PM.
