"True Wolf"movie Montana premiere at the Wilma - Filmmaker Q&A
7:00 PM The Wilma Theatre
"True Wolf" the new feature documentary directed by Missoula's award-winning filmmaker Rob Whitehair in collaboration with Hamilton writer, Bruce Weide will make its Montana premiere. The Trail 103.3 hosts a Q&A with filmmakers following the 7pm screening.
"True Wolf" follows the life of Koani, a wolf born in captivity who became an ambassador for her species. Along with her human companions - Hamilton, Montana couple, Bruce Weide and Pat Tucker - Koani traveled to communities across America where the return of wolves was an explosive controversy. Their goal was to give people a chance to look a wolf in the eye and decide for themselves if the stories and legends about this animal reflected reality or imagination. Bruce Weide started filming life with Koani in 1991 when she was just a pup. Now, more than 20 years later, you can watch the story of her life and her work on the big screen.
