Description:
The Second Wind Reading Series is pleased to present an evening of prose by Liz Newlon and Peter Orner.
Newlon is a second-year MFA creative writing candidate at the University of Montana.
Orner is the author of the novel, The Second Coming of Mavala Shikongo, a Finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, a San Francisco Chronicle Best-Seller, and winner of the Bard Fiction Prize.
Orner's fiction has appeared in the Atlantic Monthly, the Paris Review, McSweeney's, the Southern Review, and various other publications. Stories have been anthologized in Best American Stories and the Pushcart Prize Annual.
