As a part of the upcoming generation of electronic music producers, Psymbionic creates aural experiences that demonstrate the possibility for multi-tempo Bass Music and culture to exist within a range of more divergent influences. Passion and innovation drives this young producer, facilitating his forthcoming and past releases on labels such as Made in Glitch, MalLabel, and Daly City Records , just to name a few.

With this latest project, John Burcham has been moving bodies and turning heads for several years, playing with acts such as Bassnectar, STS9, Beats Antique, ill.Gates, Excision, EOTO, and Tipper. Recent festival appearances include Nocturnal, Wakarusa, Bounce and Sonic Bloom.

In a live show context, Psymbionic confronts mixes that are limited to the scope of the build and release, avoiding an industry epidemic of drop-monotony that overpowers the flow of music. Burcham seeks to prove that there are more powerful influences in moving a crowd than simple tension, providing an interwoven dynamic that relies on the strength of his blend, rather than the sole force or familiarity of the apex. Psymbionic's theory of music is a journey that doesn't visit the same place twice, building excitement for what's next not because you can anticipate it, but because you've never been there before.

Transmuting subtle vibrational awareness into tangible auditory form is the logical evolution of a lifelong musical obsession for David Krantz, a 23 year old multi-instrumentalist and producer, based out of Asheville, NC. In a little over a year, Futexture has had the opportunity to grace stages at Rootwire, Sonic Bloom, Camp Bisco, and Gnarnia the Festival, with an upcoming appearance at the inaugural CounterPoint Festival forthcoming.

Combining the rhythmic appeal of dubstep, hip hop, and house with melodic dreamscapes, creative sound design, and acoustic instrumentation, Futexture skillfully weaves a futuristic blend of glitchy bass-heavy IDM and jazzy techstep into a forward thinking sound that defies classification. Transcending the typical barriers between electronic and more traditional composition, this unique sonic synthesis is equally suited for both headphones and the dancefloor. Exceptional command over detail, depth of expression, and the ability to perform in a multitude of settings leaves the future looking very bright for this emerging artist.

Psy Fi:

Over the past 7 years, Psy Fi aka Miles Ross has been on a nationwide rampage throwing events, playing major events and making psychedelic bass music. Whether you've been to his weekly party in Eureka CA, Whomp Whomp Wednesdays, cruised the burning man playa stirring up trouble while rocking dance floors or caught a set out at a SXSW showcase in Austin Texas; if you were in attendance chances are
you've remembered it and are highly anticipating the next event.

Lately Miles has been hard at work in the studio crafting up next generation psychedelic dubstep music. With an arsenal of cutting edge software and live instrumentation, Psy Fi is on the cutting edge of creating a melodic sound while continuing to deliver nasty and hard hitting beats to the dancefloor. Look out for upcoming releases on Ooze System recordings in 2012.
