Description:
Our mission: giving maps to organizations who deserve them and need
them, but cannot afford them. We will gather in Missoula, Montana with
10 of the most talented cartographers from around the country coming
from well respected, well-known organizations. We will host an
all-night (12 hour mapping session) from 4pm on Oct 7 to 4am on Oct. 8
at the Holiday Inn Downtown at the Park. We will blog the event live
and it will be the beginning of our gift to the world. The results of
this activity will be presented at the opening session of the North
American Cartographic Information Society (NACIS) annual meeting. Yes,
it is a meeting of map-people, from academics, to private sector to
