Kakistocracy, Bridgebuilder and KBGA NIGHT!

Description:
Asheville, NC is like a slightly larger, more southern version of Missoula, or Bellingham. You can can get a tempeh wrap at like three places in its downtown. It's got a college with an enviromental studies program, and it's located right next to the Smokey Mountains, which is some of the Eastern seaboards most scenic country. It's also got a hell of a music scene going on, with good ol' Wake Up on Fire having done time there, among others. Kakistocracy are a stalwart of the anarcho/hardcore scene, having toured the US and Europe loads of times. There music offers the blown-out, Discharge/Tragedy style of metallic punk that Missoula only gets on a couple of occasions annually.
Opening the show is Missoula power-noiserock outfit Bridgebuilder, whose music veers around and thunders like a himalayan thunder storm.
KBGA, College Radio 89.9 hosts the show, and KBGA's punk DJs fill in the slots between bands with sweet, wild sounds.
