Piquett Creek Volunteer Planting Day
8:30 AM    Piquett Creek Watershed

Description:
Come and help Trout Unlimited to plant trees on recently decommissioned roads in the Piquett Creek Watershed, located in the Bitterroot National Forest. These trees will help to stabilize slopes and minimize the amount of sediment flowing into the watershed's creeks. We will be meeting at 8:30 am at the Safeway parking lot in Hamilton to carpool to the site and will return to Hamilton by 5pm. There will be up to 5 miles of hiking necessary to access the planting sites. Beautiful views and fresh air guaranteed. Please bring hiking shoes, gloves and water. A sack lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to Heather Whiteley: hwhiteley@tu.org or 531-8657
