Library book clubs to discuss “A Thousand Splendid Suns”
Join in a discussion of “A Thousand Splendid Sons,” the account of a 15-year-old forced to marry a brutal 40-year-old who then takes a second wife and struggles together to survive Afghani life under Taliban rule, at Missoula Public Library’s book groups on Thursday, Jan. 8 at 1 p.m. or Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. Please note Thursday’s meeting is at a new time. Copies of the book are available at the library check-out desk.
Book groups meet the Second Tuesday and Second Thursday of every month. If anyone attending the programs needs special assistance, please provide advance notice by calling 721-BOOK (2665).
