Description:
When: Mon, June 18th - Fri, June 29th, 9am-12pm
Description: Stories in Art (9am-noon)
Ages 7-13
Instructor: Loryn Zerr
Sometimes a good piece of art can tell a story better than any number of words. Spend two inspiring weeks with Loryn Zerr creating lots of incredible story art! Use recycled, natural, and found materials with stories behind them while creating new stories about yourself. Some of the projects for the two weeks will include: making your favorite animal as a Clay Pinch-Pot keeper to hold precious things, dreams, and/or ideas; making a Story Jar out of papier mache to tell a unique story about yourself from the past or future; using recycled do-dads and natural materials to create a mirror (bring in discarded small toys and objects to glue and paint on to your mirror); and much more!
Each Summer Camp is one week long, full days ($160 for non-members // $145 for members) or half days ($90 for non-members // $75 for members). They run June 11th through August 24th, 2012. Sign up at the ZACC Monday through Saturday 12-6 or online at zootownarts.org/camps!
