Bike Walk Bus Week

Missoula Family YMCA Riverbank Run. Start location:  Broadway and Higgins, downtown.  Start times:  9:00 a.m. – 10 K run; 10:30 a.m. – 5 K run; corporate challenge & tri-fecta  - 11:25; 11:35 a.m. 1-mile fun run. Any organization can assemble a team and compete against other teams for a trophy; members of all corporate challenge teams get a dry-fit T-shirt. Missoula Family YMCA. Jason Shearer. 721-9622.

33rd Annual Cheese Burger Boogie to Stevensville Bike Ride.  Leave at 9:00 am from old 4-Bs at Brooks/Reserve.  Paved roads and bike trail from Lolo to Stevensville.  Optional side trip to Metcalf Wildlife Refuge. Lunch in Stevi.  55 miles.  Bob Deaton.  543-7704.

Deer Creek Sneak (15th Annual). 10:00am. Group bike ride leaving from Eastgate/Albertsons parking lot. The ride is 22 miles, 1/4 paved, 3/4 dirt. Return on Hidden Treasure Trail.  Missoulians on Bicycles, Inc. Kathy York. 543-6274.

Missoula Art Museum. Open 11am to 5pm.  First 10 bike/walk/busers to MAM receive a customized Bernice’s 2008 Dayplanner —good for a free cup of coffee at Bernice’s in honor of her 30th Birthday.  10% discount on art books to bike/walk/busers!  3:00pm Raffle drawing for 10 MAM Travelon/Gamelon T-Shirts (need not be present to win).

Hike and Bike to the Moon. 1:00pm – 5:00pm. Hike in or bike in (or ride in) to the Moon Randolph Homestead for a tour and some work at the homestead in the North Hills.  Includes a tour at 2 pm and treats (donations accepted). Bonner to Marshall Grade Overlook Tour.  3:15 – 5:15 pm.  Catch the Mountain Line Route 4 bus at downtown Transfer Station at 2:45 for the ride to historic Bonner.  Or, bike or walk to Bonner School by 3:15 where a school bus will transport the group through historic neighborhoods to the Marshall Grade overlook.  At 5:15, ride the Mountain Line back to Missoula.  Bonner Area History Roundtable, with Bonner School.  258-6335.
