Church Yard Sale to Benefit YWCA Missoula

All Souls Missoula will hold its first annual Back to School Rummage Sale on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. All proceeds from the sale will go to YWCA Missoula to help single moms send their tots and teens back to school in style.
To turn your gently-used items into quick cash for a great cause, call Ryan Sutherland of All Souls at 529-2468. Donations will be accepted from now until August 23, and free pick up is available.
“Scripture has always called God's people to care for the widows and orphans,” Sutherland said. “In our day and age, we believe this includes moms and kids who have little or no support. We want to be a church that actively loves people in our city, even if most of those people never set foot in our church.”
All Souls has been a supporter of the YWCA for several years, helping restore dignity to homeless women and children staying in Ada’s Place Transitional Housing program.
“Who else would we work with if we want to help women and children in Missoula?” Sutherland said of the YWCA. “We think the YWCA does a great job.”
