Public Library will show “Noise,” Friday, June 13, at 7 p.m. as part of its World-Wide Cinema series.
This award-winning Australian drama/mystery/thriller is the story about the
wrong person in the right place at the wrong time. Police constable Graham
McGahan, who suffers from a chronic hearing problem, is stationed near the
scene of two heinous crimes where he crosses paths with the various people
affected by the tragedies and uncovers an unraveling nightmare of guilt and
suspicion. Stay after the feature for the short film, “Motorcycle.”
World-Wide Cinema comes to the
library every second Friday of the month. The film screenings are free and open
to the public, and are intended for the mature audience due to adult themes,
language and sexual content. Doors at the lower level open at 6:45 p.m.
